VCS: Handgun Level 1

Service Description

Enhance your handgun shooting capabilities as this 8-hour course progresses into multi-round strings of fire and multiple target engagements all while incorporating the use of cover. The course graduate will possess capabilities to self-diagnose and correct common shooting errors, conduct emergency reloads, conduct actions upon malfunction, properly identify and utilize cover, and obtain a good shooting position following movement. This course falls under the Vigilant Citizen Series (VCS) which is a curriculum designed to give the everyday citizen the ability to rapidly respond to a threat situation with confidence, safely neutralize the threat, and render aid to those who may have been injured.
